Rocky Mountain Cultures started in 2005 as a Kombucha Brand, High Country Kombucha. We saw the benefits of Kombucha reach many new consumers, and we saw the need for it to be expanded, more than just one brand could do. We started Co-packing . . . And we haven't looked back since!

We are a culture of great people! Individuals. Each with strengths and weaknesses that play well with the rest of the team. We have a united sense of purpose, our whole is greater than the sum of its parts, we work together to achieve goals!
President & CEO
Ed brewed the tea in the early 90′s after learning of its healing properties and in an effort to help his recovery from paralysis after an accidental fall from a roof. The two friends (Ed & Steve) proceeded to brew unique Kombucha blends that soon gained popularity with friends, family, local community members and now drinkers across the country and thus High Country Kombucha was born. Ed is our Board President as well as a board member of KBI.
Shane is driven by an endless desire to succeed and is passionate about his vision. Shane graduated Western State College with an undergrad degree in business administration on a full ride football scholarship. His entrepreneurial spirit started young with a local lawn service that supported a needed income for a student athletes. When that journey ended, he found his new place, with his brother, to collectively build the High Country Kombucha brand from the ground up. 14 year later, Shane now leads operations and works tersely day in and day out to build a community embodied company that makes health beverages for the masses.
VP, Product Development & Quality Control
Steve is our conscious creator! He is a wandering soul, but is at home in our R&D kitchen. Steve is always coming up with new ideas for new products and flavor pairings! If you have an idea, Steve is the guy to bring it to fruition. Steve has been brewing Kombucha for over 15 years and knows all the secrets. Steve oversees our Quality program and makes sure that all products are exceptional before they leave our facility.
Javier is the heart and soul of our company. Javier started here 10 years ago brewing tea. He has worked tirelessly to become the Plant Manager and has transformed our staff into the most loyal and productive group we have ever seen. Javi, as he known to all of us, is the quintessential family man and proud father of 2 wonderful kids. When Javi is not at the factory, he is often found atop one of the many 14er's in Colorado.
Supply Chain Manager
Jen lives to play in the dirt! Jen started her career in construction, no not in the field, but in the offices. Jen worked her way up from document control assistant to purchasing/contracts and on to project assistant/service manager. Jen is a no-nonsense, get the job done right, go-getter kind of girl. Jen started with High Country Kombucha in January of 2018. Jen is our Supply Chain Manager, Food Safety Admin, Shipping & Receiving Manager, Human Resources . . . Jen wears many hats (and helmets). She always takes on new challenges and is always ready to learn more.
Marcus is the definition of a "workaholic"! When he is not at his desk, he is in the garden planting vegetables. Marcus is a guy who genuinely cares about the products we make and the customers we work with. Marcus is never not on one phone or the other, he really never stops working! He is not your average sales guy, he is actually human and a great person!
